Rapid Plugging Waterproofing Mortar for Controlling Leakages
ADMIX WP762 is supplied in powder form. By adding water at job site, it hardened in few seconds and blocks leakage or flow of water. Prepare small amount of paste each time that can be applied immediately. Mixing water should be kept at minimum rate to prepare semi dry mortar, the rest of required water for hydration is obtained from leaking water.
Where to use
ADMIX WP762 is suitable material for rapid plugging of leakage in water retaining structures such as tunnels, galleries, and other underground structures. This product can be used for filling joints of precast elements and pipes. It can also be used as leakage control mortar, prior to application of water proofing membranes or finishing works.

Application method
Surface preparation is very essential; bonding area of mortar with concrete surface should be free from contaminations, settlements and greases. For better mechanical bonding of rapid plugging mortar to concrete, surface porosities should be open. Use wire brush or sand blast for this goal. Chase out the cracks in depth of 20 mm by means of a chisel to allow free flow of water. Upon preparation of surface, following methods can be implemented
Using a gloved hand, apply ADMIX WP762 powder in one point of leak, press it to the surface for 60 to 90 seconds till seepage stops. Continue process in whole leaking area until full blockage of leakage.
Prepare small amount of mortar by mixing powder with water, then press firmly into the main leak point and hold it with gloved hand in place till setting, If necessary apply further amount of powder onto the surface till full seepage stops.Suitable mixing rate of powder to water is 3 to 1 by volume.
Packaging
ADMIX WP762 is supplied in 5 and 25 kg PP bags.
Storage
ADMIX WP762 must be stored in original packages on pallets and be protected from sunlight, compaction and moisture. Shelf life of the products is 12 months.
