Admix GM532

Typical application
ADMIX GM532 is formulated for use at plastic or flowable consistency and can be used with confidence for bedding, grouting, anchoring, void filling, columns and piles re-profiling.

Application method
Surface preparation
The surface onto which the grout is to be applied should be scrabbled to remove laitance and expose aggregate. Do not use heavy or power hammers or similar preparation equipment that can crush the aggregate but leave it in place. The surface must be free of oil, dust, dirt, paint, curing compounds or other contaminants that could impair adhesion. Saturate area to be grouted to minimize absorption. Surfaces should be damp but free of standing water. Particular attention should be paid to bolt holes to ensure that they be free of standing water. Use oil free compressed air to blow out bolt holes and pockets as necessary. Base plates and bolts must be clean and free of oil, grease and paint. Set and align equipment prior to grouting. If spacers are to be removed after the grout has set, then lightly grease them for easy removal. Ensure formwork is secure and watertight to prevent movement and leaking during placing and curing of grout.

Mixing
Use power mixer for large productions and use a low speed drill with paddle to mix one bag with water. Damp down inside of the mixer but free of standing water. Add the pre-measured quantity of water to the mixer. Slowly add the ADMIX GM532 while mixing takes place. Mix for 3-5 minutes until a smooth, uniform, lump free consistency is achieved. No long time mixing is permitted as cause shrinkage of grout.

Placing
Place immediately after mixing into the prepared area from one end, continuing to ensure full filling of spaces and being appeared from other sides of plates. Pour the grout continuously maintaining a constant hydrostatic head wherever possible. ADMIX grouts are suitable for use with most types of injection pumps. Immediately after placing ADMIX GM532, cover all exposed grout surfaces with clean wet sack cloth or tissue and keep them moist till strength gaining (about 5 days). Use of cuing compound is recommended where clean water is not available.

Packaging
ADMIX GM532 is supplied in 25 kg PP bags.

Storage
This product must be stored in original bags under cover, out of direct sunlight and be protected from extremes of compaction. Shelf life is 12 months if stored in suitable condition.

Safety awareness
Like other cement based products, ADMIX GM532 may cause minor irritation. Use personal safety devices while using this material. In case of any contact to eyes or skin, wash it with clean water for at least 15 minutes and get medical helps.
