Polymer Modified, Cement Based Tile Adhesive
ADMIX CA710 is produced based on portland cement modified by specific polymers and chemical admixtures for fixing tiles, ceramics, stones and bricks. Especially those exposed to permanently wet conditions. The product is suitable for installing materials weighted not more than 30 kg/m² without any extra mechanical fixers. Suitable substrates are concrete, sand cement screeds, glazed and unglazed tiles and fairly prepared timber.
Advantages
ADMIX CA710 is waterproof and immersion will not affect adhesion after curing. It is ready to use and needs just adding water at job site. Existence of chemical additives in product formulation improves workability and bonding strength. It can be easily used in thin or thick layers. Tiles and ceramics can be fixed both vertically or horizontally.

Direction for use
ADMIX CA710 is the choice for swimming pools and may be used in all wet process applications including abattoirs, shower rooms, industrial kitchens, bathrooms and fixing decorative tiles. The product may be used onto glazed tile surfaces. To increase chemical resistance or improving hygienic standards, use epoxy based materials for grouting. Addition of Admix AC420 increases durability of ADMIX CA710 against substrate movements as well as excess of temperature.
Application method & Surface preparation
Surfaces to be tiled, should be sound, stable, clean and free from loose laitance, paint, oil, grease, mold release agent and residual curing compound. Wet the substrate to avoid rapid absorption. Uneven surfaces should be repaired by mean of repair mortars before installation.
Mixing
Due to accurate formulation of ADMIX CA710, mixing process is easy and fast, a low speed drill or hand mixer is recommended for mixing. Pour measured water to the pan and add powder slowly while the mixer is running, continue mixing to gain a uniform paste. Diluted Admix AC420 is recommended to be used instead of water, if constructional movement or vibration is expected.
Application
Spread mixed adhesive in a uniform thickness by means of a notched trowel. For better adhesion, spread adhesive in the area less than one square meter and install tiles immediately. Adjustment and relocation can be done in place. Grouting is essential and should be done 48 hours after installation. Clean excess of grouting materials before drying.
Packaging
ADMIX CA710 is supplied in 25 kg PP bags.
Storage
This product must be stored in original bags on pallets out of direct sunlight and be protected from rainfall and extremes of compaction. Shelf life is 12 months.
Safety awareness
Like other cementitious products, ADMIX CA710 may cause irritation. In case of any contact with eyes or skin, wash it immediately with clean water for at least 15 minutes and get medical helps. Equipment carefulness
Wash the equipment with water after completion of each phase of application or before break times.
