Chloride Free Concrete Antifreeze Agent
ADMIX AF480 is a liquid admixture used to protect concrete against freezing at below zero degrees. This product is chloride free and recommended to be used in reinforced concrete. Also provide good protection barrier for embedded steel. Although antifreeze admixture provides protection against freezing it is always recommended to consider following precautions
Recommended usage
– Using low water cement ratio concrete mixes
– Warming water and aggregates
– Surrounding job site
– Using rapid set cements
– Covering concrete surfaces immediately after application

Product Application
ADMIX AF480 increases the temperature of concrete and accelerates hydration process which cause high early strength gain. This reaction can support the concrete from first freezing cycle in cold weather after placing. So there be no danger of deterioration or low strength gaining of concrete.
Method of usage
ADMIX AF480 is a ready to use product and can be added to concrete mix in any stage of production. But the best time is when 70% of water content is added or along with gagging water. Never add this product to dry cement.
Dosages
Proper required dosage depends on environmental temperature at early placing hours. Table below is a guide for consumption rates based on temperature

Packaging
ADMIX AF480 is supplied in 25 kg containers and 250 kg drums. Bulk delivery is possible based on request.
Storage
This product must be stored in original containers at above +5 C° under cover, out of direct sunlight and protect from extremes of temperature. Shelf life is 12 months. For specific storage condition contact White Damavand Technical Services Department.
Safety awareness
ADMIX AF480 does not contain any hazardous substances. In case of any contact with eyes or skin, wash it immediately with clean water for 15 minutes and get medical helps.
