Two Component Epoxy Based Bedding and Repair Mortar
ADMIX EM630 is a two component mortar based on modified epoxy resins with variety of applications in the sectors of repair, bedding, strengthening of structures, installation of marble and ceramic tiles, acid resistant grouting, anchorage of steel bars, and renovation of ancient buildings.
Advantages
ADMIX EM630 supplies as two component product which needs mixing before use. It is based on epoxy resins with faster curing and hardening properties than cement based mortars. Open time for using mixed product in normal temperature is 45 minutes, although setting time may differs from 30 to 90 minutes depending on ambient temperature.

Surface preparation
Surfaces should be sound, stable, clean and free from loose laitance, paint, oil, grease, mold release agent and residual curing compound which may cause debonding. Areas to be repaired must be clean and dry. The perimeter of the area should be saw cut to a depth of damage and the edges cut as neatly as possible keeping the sides square. In case the reinforcing bars are rusty, full cleaning is required by means of sand blast or dry brushing. Recoating of steel bars is mandatory using a suitable and long life protection coating.
Mixing
ADMIX EM630 is supplied in two separate containers as based epoxy and hardener. Pour total amount of hardener into base container, mix them thoroughly by means of a low speed hand mixer to reach a uniform gray color. Apply mixed product in stated open time. As the product is sensitive to temperature, keep the product in control room in temperature of 20°C to 25 °C till both parts reach room temperature.
Packaging
ADMIX EM630 is supplied in two separate containers; total net weight is 3 kg.
Storage
This product must be stored in original containers on pallets out of direct sunlight and be protected from rainfall at 20°C to 25°C. Shelf life is 8 months.
Safety awareness
Like other epoxy based materials, ADMIX EM630 may cause irritation. In case of any contact with eyes or skin, wash it immediately with clean water for at least 15 minutes and get medical helps. Use personal safety devices while using this product.
