Surface Protective and Water Repellent Impregnation
ADMIX SP780 is an excellent surface protective material specially designed for façades in which penetrating to capillaries of concrete, bricks and stones then by combining with moisture or vapor, forms water repellent polysiloxane in all capillaries. The product is transparent and colorless which can be applied on surfaces to prevent penetration of running water.
Product Performance
ADMIX SP780 prevents ingress of waterborne chlorides and sulfates so protects surfaces from discoloration and pollution. It is water vapor permeable and allows concrete to breathe. This product is a non-film forming material so will not peel off or flake and does not required re-applying. Applied material is colorless and does not change surface texture or appearance.

Application method
Surface preparation
Surfaces to be protected, should be sound, stable, clean and free from loose laitance, paint, oil, grease, mold release agent and residual curing compound. Existed coating or cement laitance should be removed by means of sand paper or sand blast. Minor moisten substrate is allowed, but running water should not exist.
Application
ADMIX SP780 is supplied as a ready to use product and needs well stirring before applying. Do not dilute it with water nor solvent. Application can be done by means of brush or low pressure sprayer. Make sure that the surface is fully covered and saturated. On vertical surfaces should be applied till flooding. When used as a protective impregnation, minimum of two applications is recommended “wet-on-wet” with immediate apply of second one.
Note: ADMIX SP780 reacts with atmospheric humidity, prolonged contact with air should be avoided. Keep containers sealed when not in use.
Coverage
Coverage depends upon porosity of the substrate. Optimum coverage is 3- 5 m²/ l.
Equipment carefulness
Wash the equipment with water after completion of each phase of application or before break times.
Storage
This product must be stored in original containers on pallets out of direct sunlight and be protected from rainfall and moisture. Shelf life is 12 months.
Safety awareness
ADMIX SP780 does not contain any hazardous substances. In case of any contact with eyes or skin, wash it immediately with clean water for at least 15 minutes and get medical helps. Use personal safety devices while using this product.
