Admix WP770
Flexible Coating and Waterproofing Membrane based on Bitumen and Latex
ADMIX WP770 is a single component viscous product based on bitumen and modified with latex, which can be diluted with water. This product has excellent adhesion to concrete, brick, stone and other construction materials. It forms flexible black mastic after curing which protect structures against environment aggressive materials.
Typical Applications
ADMIX WP770 is a suitable coating for following applications:
– Water reservoirs and structures.
– Embedded foundations.
– Creation of waterproofing coating on concrete and bricks.
– Maintenance bitumen and asphalt coated roofs.
– As a protective coating for aluminum, concrete, low weight screeds, wood, stone, asbestos cement and corrugated iron plates.
– As an adhesive for bonding wooden mosaics, insolating boards, expanded polystyrene and cork tiles.

Application method
ADMIX WP770 can be applied by brush or trowel. Surface preparation is very important. All surfaces should be sound, stable, clean and free from paint, oil, grease, contamination and dust. It may be applied to damp surface with no standing water. Hot, very dry or porous surfaces should be dampened with primer (for preparation of primer, dilute product with water in the ratio of 1 by 1).
Minimum two coats should be applied to give 770 microns of DFT in order to provide good protective layer. Although in aggressive areas such as Persian Gulf and southern islands, applying third coat is recommended. Where subsequent coats are to be applied, the first coat must be dry. If top screen or other constructional finishing should apply, blasting clean and sharp silica sand onto last layer (wet layer) is recommended to provide mechanical key.
Equipment carefulness
Tools and equipment should be washed with water and soap before drying. Cured materials can be removed mechanically and then be cleaned by paraffin or solvent.
Packaging
ADMIX WP770 is supplied in 20 kg pails.
Storage
ADMIX WP770 must be stored under cover in original containers on pallets at above +5°C. Shelf life is 12 months.

Safety awareness
Like other chemical materials, special care is needed while storage and use ADMIX WP770. Use personal safety devices when working with this product. In case of any contact with eyes or skin, wash it immediately with clean water for at least 15 minutes and get medical helps. Keep containers closed when not in used.
