Two Component Epoxy Injection Resin for Filling Micro Cracks
ADMIX EI650 is a two component low viscosity product based on modified epoxy resins which is formulated for injection in micro cracks and small voids. This resin is suitable to be injected in static cracks with width of more than 100 microns, but the width of the crack should not exceed 9 mm. This resin penetrates deeply in concrete and makes it watertight to prevent ingress of harmful liquids.
Typical applications
Repairing and waterproofing concrete elements such as columns, bridge segments and decks, floors, metro and road tunnels, beams and subways. Injecting in concrete dam bodies and water channels. Strengthening weak and porous concretes. Gap filling of concrete and steel plates. Also as a primer in all repair jobs subjected to vibration and repetitive loads.
Advantages: ADMIX EI650 withstands against a great range of aggressive materials such as industrial and residential sewage, sea water, diluted alkalis and acids, ammonium and formaldehyde, animal and botanical fats and mineral oils.

Application method & Surface preparation
Surfaces should be clean and free from paint, oil, grease, mould release agent and residual curing compound which may cause debonding. Thoroughly clean inside of the cracks by means of a vacuum cleaner or high pressure compressed air. Make sure that no water or other liquids remains inside the cracks.
Mixing
ADMIX EI650 is supplied in two separate containers as based epoxy and reactor. Pour total amount of reactor into base container, mix them thoroughly by means of a low speed hand mixer to reach a uniform color.
Application
Apply ready to use, mixed product in stated open time in following injection methods
– In horizontal surfaces, pour mixed resin onto the crack and wait for absorption, continuing pouring till full saturation of concrete and when extra resin remains on surface.
– For injections in vertical cracks, direction of the cracks should be identified. Then drilling and installation of nipples should be done. Seal the cracks with epoxy mortar and leave it to cure. Injection should be carried out from lowest nipple, making sure of full saturation of crack and concrete before moving upward. As the epoxy based products are sensitive to temperature, keep the product in control room in temperature of 20°C to 25 °C till both parts reach room temperature.

ADMIX EI650 is supplied in two separate containers; total net volume is 1 liter.
Storage
This product must be stored in original containers on pallets out of direct sunlight and be protected from rainfall at 20°C to 25°C. Shelf life is 8 months.
Safety awareness
Like other epoxy based materials, ADMIX EI650 may cause irritation. Use personal protective devices such as gloves, goggles and helmet while working with this product. In case of any contact with eyes or skin, wash it immediately with clean water for at least 15 minutes and get medical helps.
Equipment carefulness
Wash the equipment with suitable solvent after completion of each phase of application or before break times.
